Once upon a time, the Cyber-Witch Queen awoke from an enchanted sleep where she had dreamed she was an unmarried mother on Prozac.

Dismayed to realise that all the Cyber-Witches were lost and disillusioned, she sprang out of bed. Using all her powers she gathered the tattered and sleepy remnants of the Knights of the Order of the Rainbow and summoned the last few Ladies of the Order of the Broom. Hastily she convened the Royal Court.

“We have slept too long” she told the dejected and miserable Court. “While we were enchanted our people have become poor in spirit and low in energy!”

“But do not fear, for I have a cunning plan! We must rid the world of it’s apathy, and give it hope. Look about you…. Ask why you are not happy, why you are ill. Look about you and change what can be changed”

The Court formed aa working group and investigated the reasons for their sadness. They looked about them and saw that they were sad because they were suffering from poverty of social creativity.

Horrified by the lack of opportunity for laughter and fun, the Dukes and Duchesses, Baroness and Counts rallied the healers and the mystics, and cajoled the musicians and performers. By word of mouth the message spread that the Queen had returned and from all corners of the earth the Cyber-Witches began to emerge from the shadows.

And not everything was bad! The Witches were delighted to find that the modern technologies enhanced their powers. They soon discovered that organically building a wide network of social contacts was the key to achieving their objectives.

The Queen herself bribed the handmaids and the cooks, the baby-sitters and the cabbies. Re-united with the Light and Love Fairies, and the Chief Minister for Light and Love, she founded the Cyber-Witch Circus and used Cyber-Space to spread the word of Social Salvation.

Soon the Queen was satisfied that she had brought together a tribe strong in identity and blessed, most importantly, with compassion. Charged with the mission to take laughter, spirituality, liberation and escape to those who most needed it, she commanded that The Cyber Witch Circus go forth and ....

So they did.
